Participating in League of Schools might be an experience of its own and we all know the teams that are competing. But who are the players (students) participating in the League and what do they do?

With several “School Profiles” like this one during the Season, we will be speaking with a few teams and getting to know them more.

Our first interview is with “Ebersteinska Esport CS:GO” who is a familiar face in the League of Schools competition and who also finished 3rd in the last Season and have gone victorious to the Upper Bracket Round 3 in the current League.

An introduction; Who are you and what subjects are you studying?

We are from the team Ebersteinska Esport CS:GO and it consists of Giovanni (GeoG), Elias (Jigzzaw), Samuel (Sid), Simon (garan) and me, Adam (Ominous). Me, Giovanni and Elias are on our last year of high school, while Samuel and Simon are on their next to last year. Giovanni is studying to be an electrician, while the rest of us are studying a college preparation line with a technical orientation.

Except for playing CS:GO/LoL, do you play any other games or have any other hobbies (music, art, movies, series etc.)?

We all enjoy to play CS:GO most of the time, together as a team or just playing in matchmaking, but we all appreciate a good single player game once in a while.
Still, we are very social and hang out with friends while listening to music.

Tell us a bit about you and your team, what backgrounds in CS:GO do you have?

Me, Giovanni and Elias started playing CS:GO four years ago and we played it on our school computers in school, but not with a mouse, instead we used the touchpads and we slowly built up our arsenal of mouses and keyboards. Garan and Sid started around the same time as us, but we all played it for fun, I believe no one of us had a dream of becoming a pro when we first bought the game. I would say that our dreams of becoming pros grew with the CS:GO scene and our goal to become pros has never been bigger as it is now.

Is this your first tournament you are participating with the current team or do you have any previous accomplishments?

For this line-up it is our first tournament together. Me, Giovanni, Elias and Simon played in the last league of schools with another teammate and we actually ended up finishing third place. We hope that we have everything we need to win League of Schools this time.

League of School just kicked off, but what are your feelings towards this season?

We are all very excited to play in League of Schools season 2. It is a big and amazing opportunity for us and we all want to show what we are made of.

How much is your class involved in your participation?

None of our classes are involved in any big way in our participation in League of Schools. We have a tv at our lobby in the school where they have shown some advertisement that we are participating in League of Schools, but nothing more then that.

Is there any team you´re looking forward to facing off against?

We played against Team Heklu a few times last season and all of the games were amazing and super close, so I would say that if we face each other, it will be a good game.

If you would reach the finals, what team would you like to be up against and why?

Hagströmska E-sport, simply because we lost against them in the semi-finals last season, so we hope to get some revenge against them.

Who’s your clutcher?

We would say that Elias (Jigzzaw) is our clutcher, because he can play under stress very well.
